Artists Organization starts sponsorship and ticket sales season at 4411 Montrose.

March 5, 2008 - Houston TX - Houston artist organization Spacetaker will kick-off the sponsorship and ticket sales season for SYNERGY - Spacetaker Gala 2008 on Monday May 5th at the Galleries of 4411 Montrose. The lively cocktail event will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm.

Tiffany Halik, Alton LaDay and Gail Rubin will serve as the chairs of the annual synergy-themed fete. Gallerist Caroline Tyson and Wade Wilson will serve as the events honorary chairs.

The main event will be held on Saturday September 20th at Winter Street Studios.

Spacetaker is a non-profit Artist Resource Center that provides young emerging and mid-career artists with resources and tools to help them manage and advance their professional careers. Through its Artist Resource Center at 2101 Winter Street and extensive interactive websites, they afford artists access to practical professional services, including bi-weekly newsletters, low cost/high value PR and marketing, digital photography services, current art technology, online portfolio space, and other career-building resources.

Spacetaker also creates social networking opportunities for Houston artists and the greater Houston community through monthly Artist Saloons, quarterly special events and the annual Gala. The organizations online business resources are accessible on computers and mobile devices, giving artists unprecedented access to the business side of making art.
